Manyta's new beginning : Bound by fate

Manyata stood at the entrance of a huge mansion. She had no idea who the mansion belonged to. The only thing she knew was that it belonged to the man she had just married. But who that man actually was... she had no clue.

She stood there all alone, holding the same file Mohit had handed her on the way. She hadn't even opened it yet. She remained frozen at the gate, completely unsure of what to do next. Mohit had already left her there and was long gone.

The mansion was enormous—at least five times bigger than her small house, perhaps even more. The entire place was decorated like a bride. Anyone could tell that it had been beautifully prepared to welcome a newlywed bride. Everything looked absolutely perfect, just as it should. The only thing missing... was people. There wasn't a single person present to welcome her. The silence of such a grand mansion felt extremely strange to Manyata.

Meanwhile, inside a large room, a man stood smoking a cigarette.

He was around 6 feet 2 inches tall, with broad shoulders and a sharp jawline. His aura was so dark and intimidating that anyone would instinctively swallow their fear. Yet, he was unbelievably handsome. Dressed in blue jeans and a white shirt, wearing a pair of sunglasses, he looked effortlessly attractive. He appeared to be around thirty years old.

He quietly stared out of the glass window, taking slow drags from his cigarette.

Just then, a young man entered the room.

"Boss! Just as you instructed, the car had black-tinted windows, so Miss Kashyap—"

Before Mohit could finish, the man, who had been facing away from him, suddenly turned around. Removing his sunglasses, he shot Mohit a warning glare. His hazel-green eyes burned with a dangerous intensity.

Realizing his mistake, Mohit immediately corrected himself.

"Sorry, Boss! Madam has no idea where she is right now. I also gave her the rulebook file... but..."

"But what?" the man asked calmly.

"Boss... she still hasn't read the file."

Hearing that, a slow smile spread across the man's face.

"Interesting."

He suddenly burst into loud laughter.

The sound of his laughter alone was enough to make Mohit shiver.

After a few moments, he abruptly stopped laughing and said in a cold voice,

"Welcome to hell, jaan. Now you'll learn what marriage really means."

The moment he finished speaking, he started laughing again.

Meanwhile, Manyata had been standing at the entrance for what felt like forever.

She was a brave girl by nature, but at that moment, tears threatened to spill from her eyes. She wasn't angry at anyone else.

She was angry at her own fate.

After standing there for a long time, she finally gathered the courage to step inside the mansion.

The moment she entered the main hall, she noticed a traditional rice pot placed near the entrance.

It didn't take her long to realize that it had been kept there for her.

She looked around the house, hoping to see someone.

But there was no one.

With a gentle kick, she tipped over the rice pot and walked inside.

A tray filled with red alta was placed just ahead. She dipped her feet into it and completed the traditional bridal entry.

As she stepped further inside, she looked around the mansion.

Everything had been arranged with incredible elegance. Every piece of decoration looked expensive and luxurious.

The only thing missing... was another human being.

Now that she had entered the house, she had no idea what she was supposed to do.

She began wandering around, hoping to find something that would reveal whose house it actually was.

Unfortunately, she found no clues.

She carefully checked every room, but nothing gave her the answers she was looking for.

Eventually, she returned to the main hall.

The moment she did...

She froze.

The tray of alta and the overturned rice pot had disappeared.

For a second, Manyata wondered if she had imagined everything.

Maybe there had never been a rice pot at all.

Then something struck her.

She quickly looked down at her feet.

The red alta was still there.

That meant she hadn't imagined it.

The rice pot had definitely been there... and she had definitely kicked it over.

But now...

It was gone.

There was only one explanation.

Someone else was inside the mansion.

She looked around nervously, but no one was in sight.

Fear and confusion slowly began taking over her.

She decided to head upstairs.

The moment she opened one of the bedroom doors, she stood stunned.

The room was huge and beautifully decorated.

It took her only a moment to realize that it had been prepared for the wedding night.

The realization made her legs go weak.

She hurriedly ran back downstairs into the hall, breathing heavily.

Her eyes fell on a glass of water resting on the table.

She was certain that the table had been empty just a few minutes ago.

Right now, however, she was genuinely thirsty.

Without thinking twice, she picked up the glass and emptied it in a single gulp.

Fear had now completely taken hold of her.

She curled up on the sofa, hugging herself tightly and covering her face with her hands.

Suddenly, she remembered the rulebook Mohit had given her during the journey.

As soon as the thought crossed her mind, she hurriedly started searching for the file.
